I wrote down the code, turned off the engine and restarted. Complete control was back, and the rest of the ride was uneventful.Follow these steps to clear the diagnostic trouble code: Stop the UTV and turn the engine off. Allow the engine to sit for 25-30 minutes. Turn the engine on. Doing this eliminates the limp mode. However, the fault code will remain on the dash. Next time it acts up, try unscrewing the gas cap, and see if there's vacuum sucking air in. It's possible the end of you vent line is plugged or restricted too.I got that code with a 17 under it for a while, change plugs and wires, belt, O-ring on top of fuel pump. Code would clear then come back to s of times. Finally got fed up and got an all balls fuel pump and an O2 sensor off rockymountain utv. Have not had the code come back since, and it idles way better.
