With only tier 3 in encumbrance, I find have plenty of carry weight along with having plenty of armor for PvE. Armor has strong diminishing returns in damage reduction, so adding a few hundred more on top of high armor like 1,000ish doesn't benefit you much with reduced damage.Aside from Light/Medium/Heavy the actual weight of the armour doesnt affect your stamina regen...your total encumberance level does. Heavier weight classes decrease stamina regen, and also increase the % of your stamina that gets used when dodge rolling.
