Personally I think the Lava Bow is incredibly useful for PvE, especially for Faith builds as they tend to lack both ranged abilities as well as fire damage. Talisman of Beasts makes Magic/Faith builds quite viable if not the default for mage casters. Royalty is not really "all that" though. All it does is come with a mana regenerating ring.
