She passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 87 at home with family by her side. Lois Nadine was born to John Wesley Nygren and Doris Virginia (McAllister) Nygren in Longmont, Colorado on Sunday, August 12, 1934.. In 2008, they moved to Alva where John affectionately known Billie Jo Dees, age 34 of Paola, Kansas passed away on Monday Gwen's funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2023 at Fairfax City Cemetery in Fairfax, OK, with Pastor Dennis Wildman officiating.
