If you have any questions feel free. :) Walden and other online programs will be mandated in 2019 toprovide clinical placement sites.. As of 2019 the new accrediting standards of the CCNE required these programs to provide the proper clinical support to their students (1).Hi everyone, I'm excited to be pursuing my PMHNP and recently got accepted to both Frontier Nursing University and California Baptist University (CBU). Both offer online programs, but CBU also has an in-person option. I'm torn on which school to choose. When I was looking for jobs (with experience, not my first job) I had a private practice offer me $45 an hour with no benefits (1099). I literally laughed and walked out. I've had job offers for every from $85K annually to $170K+ annually.I'm 46yrs old. I have 5years of nursing experience. I've been kicking around going back to school for my PMHNP degree. (Looking at NKU program). But worried about investing that much more money into school loans at my age. Sadly, I'm still paying off my BSN, RN loans.
