If you want to use pricking irons, I recommend Ver I use my Wuta pricking irons constantly and am very happy with them. I almost always use the #8. I have 7, 8 and 10. It's probably just a personal preference. I consistently use both the obverse and reverse irons. I prick both sides of the leather and use the obverse on the front and the reverse on the back.The Crimson Pricking Irons are so far proving to be a great middle ground.
